August is an unusual month at the Library since we will have very little programming. This is because our library, and others within our consortium, will be migrating to a new system. Above is a picture with the dates of changes happening along the way. Some of the changes have already started with holds being placed now are suspended until the new catalog launches on August 19.
Starting on August 7, the InfoSoup mobile app will stop working and a new app will be available on August 19. There is limited access to the online catalog starting then as well so not all information will be up-to-date in the catalog.
From August 9-16, some services will be temporarily unavailable as library staff will be using an offline client to check out materials. We will be open all week despite the system transition that is happening that week.
Wednesday, August 19 is the big day as this is when the new catalog and, as mentioned before, app will be available for everyone to use! Please don’t be afraid to ask library staff questions now and even after the transition is complete. We will be there to help along the way.
