July 2026 Calendar of events at the Clintonville Public Library.

July Programming Calendar

Hard to believe we are halfway through 2026, but July is coming soon. With that, unfortunately, comes the end of the Summer Reading Program on July 31. We have a big software change coming in August that may cause some disruption. More on that next month.

There are still lots of great programs happening in July including a Paleo Art program hosted by the Appleton-based History Museum at the Castle on Thursday, July 9 at 11:00am. This program requires registration so please visit or call the library to sign-up. Next, we have an all ages Mario Kart Tournament happening on Wednesday, July 15 at 1:00pm. The Library provides everything needed to play and everyone will get a change to do 3 races. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place. On July 22, Youth Services Librarian Ms. Hannah will be hosting a Foraging Walk at Seven Maples Nature Area at the end of 13th Street. The final big program for the Summer is J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue who will be bringing live animals that share traits with prehistoric species! You won’t want to miss it!

Besides all those great programs we have a lot of great monthly and weekly programs, including two movie showings for “Jurassic Park” on Wednesday, July 8 and “Ice Age” on Wednesday, July 29. Both showings will start at 10:00am. Our monthly book club meets on July 20 to discuss the Tracy Chevalier novel “The Glass Maker” at 6:30pm. There are also weekly Kids crafts on Mondays at 1:00pm, Storytime on Tuesdays at 10:00am, and LEGO Club on Tuesdays from 12:00-7:00pm.

The last day of Summer Reading is Friday, July 31 so remember to bring in your tickets before 5:00pm that day.

Lastly, the Library will be closed Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day.
