It’s hard to believe summer is almost done. September is coming up fast which means a new school year and the start of school year programming at the Library. September is Library Card Sign-Up Month so whether you have or don’t have a library card, it’s a good time to come in to sign up for one or renew your existing account. We will have a selection of fun stickers to choose from!
The Library will be closed for Labor Day weekend from Saturday, August 30 to Monday, September 1.
The Library is holding another Halloween costume swap in October, so please donate your gently used costumes to the Library during open hours.
The Library is partnering with the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Waupaca County to offer Memory Screens on Thursday, September 11 from 10:00am-2:00pm. Call 715-258-6277 to register. These tests are brief (3-5 minutes), there is no special equipment needed, and the tests are not diagnostic but help decide whether more in-depth testing is needed.
Monthly programs return with Adult Crafting on Thursday, September 4 at 6:00pm, and Teen Night and Book Club on Monday, September 15 at 3:15pm and 6:30pm, respectively.
With the return to school, our school year weekly programs return with After-School Adventures on Mondays, LEGO Club on Tuesdays, DIY Crafts on Wednesdays, and Game Night on Thursdays, all starting at 3:15pm. Storytime returns after the two-week break on Tuesdays at 10:00am.
