December is finally upon us, which means the holidays and the end of the year 2025. Despite the days getting shorter and lots of fun movies to watch, the Library has a lot of great activities to offer. There is a Winter Social on Wednesday, December 10 from 2:00-4:00, which is our second year offering this program. If you or someone you know is looking for a place to go to converse with other adults, come to the library and enjoy a snack and warm beverage. We are also be showing the new movie “Freakier Friday” on Monday, December 29 at 1:00pm.
For monthly programs, the adult craft night is on Thursday, December 4 at 6:00pm where the craft is Jenga Block Ornaments. Other monthly programs include Teen Night and Book Club on Monday, December 15 at 3:15pm and 6:30pm, respectively. For Teen Night, teens can enjoy a cookie decorating contest. The Book Club is reading “The Forgotten Letters of Esther Durrant” by Kayte Nunn and you can pick up a copy of the book at the Library.
There is, as always, our weekly programs of After School Adventures on Mondays, Storytime & LEGO Club on Tuesdays, DIY Crafts on Wednesdays, and Game Night on Thursdays.
Lastly, due to the holidays, the Library will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as Wednesday, December 31 and Thursday, January 1 for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
