The Library is Open; No Appointments Required!

The Library is open, with no appointments required.

The safety of the public and our staff is of utmost importance. Our plan is to allow a gradual reopening of the building as we continue to follow guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control, Department of Public Instruction, as well as state and local Departments of Health. Here are the guidelines for accessing the building:

-The Library's schedule currently is 9-5 on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, 9-8 on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and 9-1 on Saturdays.

-We ask that you only spend 1 hour on the computers or 30 minutes browsing.

-The bathrooms are now open, but the water fountain is still not accessible.

-When you are ready to check out your materials, you can use the self-check or come to the front desk. Please use the hand sanitizer provided when using the self-check.

-Do not hand any items directly to Library staff. Please place anything that needs to be handed to the Library staff on the desk. This also includes when paying for copies/printouts.

-Due to social distancing requirements, staff can provide very limited assistance while in the Library.

-There will be a hand sanitizer station set up in the entryway that we recommend all entering and exiting the building to use.

-If someone in the library (staff or patron) tests positive for COVID-19, the Library will suspend operations until it is safe to resume.

During this time, we will continue to provide curbside pickup along with virtual programming and electronic materials from Libby and Hoopla.

If there are any changes, look for updates through our website, Facebook page, and local newspapers when possible.
