Today we will be listening to Zombies Don't Eat Veggies! A perfect summer book that includes cultural diversity.

While your reading. . . or after is a great time to discuss all the differences in families. How is your family the same of different than the one depicted in the story? When you finish the story, page back through the illustrations and see how many veggies you can name!

For today's Storytime we will be listening to As Fast As Words Could Fly! A great story about civil rights and heroism.

Fun question to ask while reading: Imagine that Mr. Frinks lost his cool. What would his Temper Tantrum look like?

Activity: In the story Mason practiced his typing every day. Have your kiddos practice typing their name on a computer keyboard. For little ones, you can unplug a keyboard and let them push the keys:-) Here are some more online typing games.
