Esselstyn Jr., author of Prevent & Reverse Heart Disease, speak to our group. His book is based on the groundbreaking results of his twenty-year nutritional research on arresting and reversing coronary artery disease in SEVERELY ILL patients using a whole food plant-based diet. Besides being a pioneer in this type of medicine practice, Dr. Esselstyn is a Gold Medal Olympian, a graduate of Yale University and Western Reserve University, trained as a surgeon at The Cleveland Clinic and at St. George’s Hospital in London, and a surgeon in Vietnam in 1968, awarded the Bronze Star. With over 150 scientific publications, recipient of many prestigious awards, as well as a contributor to the documentaries, Forks Over Knives, Eating You Alive, and The Game Changers, we are THRILLED to have the opportunity to hear Dr. Esselstyn speak to our group via live video chat.
